Travel for the soul
You know the saying, the best-laid plans and all that. I had every intention of writing and processing all of my problems for the internet to know. However, once I finally hit the road, I just fell into travel. My days were packed with exploring and RV prep or maintenance. But in an odd way, it was exactly what I needed. I learned I could do so much more than I thought I was possible of. I managed to park an RV in the mountains at night in the fog. As a Florida native, all of these things are completely foreign to me.
Solitude isn’t as scary as I originally thought it would be. I feared the silence at night. I thought it would be all-consuming. I thought it would suffocate me, but instead, I have found it freeing. I can breathe again.
It’s made me realize loving and being in love are two very different things.
